"Mt Menzies Station" is in the Hakateramea Valley, about 21 from Kurow.
Hosts Will & Shirley Fraser welcome visitors to their four bedroom homestead, but outside of the period: mid-December to the end of January (and a few other intensive work times). Otherwise, there's plenty of space for tents and campervans, not far from the Waitaki River. Mountain bikes are available, along with 4WD tracks to ride them on. This is a working farm, so it's essential to call 03 436 0442 first please.

The club's grounds are at Sutton, near Middlemarch. Facilities include powered caravan sites, tent sites and a 5 bedroom house available for renting which must be booked in advance. There is swimming and canoeing in the nearby Taiere River. Prior contact required.

A small friendly club at Aparima, 65 km north of Invercargill, on an old school property. The grounds are well sheltered, with plenty of trees, room for several tents, and 12 powered caravan sites. There are miniten, volleyball and tenniquoit courts; a concrete block swimming pool, paddling pool, and a children's playground. The club house has been cosily converted, with several varieties of heating, TV and a well-equipped kitchen. There is a cabin available for accommodation, toilets, shower laundry and freezer room.
