From the sign to Kowhai Heights, near the township of Waitati, a short drive up the hill brings one to the ex-Karitane Hospital: now converted to a pleasant naturist retreat. (Note the wooden surround of the always-on spa pool, visible at the far left above.) |

Paul & Shirley's place is only 20km north of Dunedin. As can be seen here, there is a good variety of things to do and places to play - in house! The lounge includes a good fireplace, so it's an all-weather venue.

There are a number of rooms - as one might expect in an ex-hospital - with common ablution faclitities just along the corridor.
This is Warrington Beach. Doctors Point Beach is invisble here, but it's just across the inlet (at the far end of Warrington Beach) and only about 5 km from Kowhai Heights.
