Puheke Beach

The distance from Kaitaia is about 45 km.

Where:-

From State Highway 10, 23 km north of Kaitaia and 8 km west of Taipa, turn north into Inland Road on the Karikari peninsula. Go 12 km and turn left into Rangiputa Road. Follow signs 10 km to Puheke Beach.

What's there:-

Camping is allowed, no facilities. Open to westerlies. There is a walking track from the DoC reserve, over the hill to the west end of Karikari Bay.
