Ohiwa Spit, Bryans Beach

The distance from Opotiki is about 14 km.

Where:-

On State Highway 2, 9 km west of Opotiki, turn onto the Waiotahi bridge. On the other side continue right onto Ohiwa Beach Road, 3 km to the beach. Use the car park near the corner just by the beginning of Bryans Beach (to the left) and walk east a minute or two.

Comment:-

Apr 10, AP - I stayed at Wrightspot, at the front, which is textile, the owners were away so I was by myself and went nude anyway. Everyone droving past could see me but again, no one cared. I walked nude along the spit and back, great!
